Litter Prevention

A beautiful community is one without litter, a goal KLRB believes we can realize when we all work together.

We sponsor many community litter and trash clean-ups, working with neighborhood groups, volunteers, and sponsors to protect our environment and improve the quality of life for everyone in Little Rock.

A beautiful community is one without litter, a goal KLRB believes we can realize when we all work together.

We sponsor many community litter and trash clean-ups, working with neighborhood groups, volunteers, and sponsors to protect our environment and improve the quality of life for everyone in Little Rock.

We track that impact our efforts are having through our annual Litter Index Survey. We measure the quantity of litter on city streets in selected areas each year. When we identify areas suffering an increase in litter and solid waste dumping, we reach out to citizens, businesses, and schools in those areas to identify volunteers. We strive to connect volunteers with us and other organizations, as well as with the city in its Adopt-a-Street, Adopt-A-Park, or other volunteer programs.

You can report “Litter on City Streets” to Little Rock 311. Use the app or report online.
You can report “Littering  you observe” to Keep Arkansas Beautiful by calling 866-811-1222 or report it online.
